Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha / Moshi – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. After a short briefing from your Climb2Kili Adventures guide, you will drive approximately 4–5 hours to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and beautiful open savannah landscapes. The Tarangire River attracts many animals, making wildlife viewing excellent throughout the year.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park followed by an afternoon game drive where you may see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and various antelope species.
In the late afternoon, you will drive to your accommodation near Ngorongoro.
Accommodation:
-
Budget Option: Public campsite with shared facilities
-
Mid-Range Option: Comfortable lodge or tented camp with private bathroom
Meals Included: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. It is 610 meters deep and covers approximately 260 square kilometers, hosting over 25,000 animals in one area. This makes it one of the best places in Tanzania to see the Big Five.
During your game drive, you may spot lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, and if lucky, the rare black rhino. The crater’s open grasslands make wildlife easy to observe and photograph.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls and returning to your lodge or campsite.
Accommodation:
-
Budget Option: Public campsite
-
Mid-Range Option: Lodge or tented camp
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive.
Lake Manyara is well known for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, scenic lake views, and rich birdlife. The park features groundwater forests, open plains, and the alkaline lake that attracts flamingos and other water birds.
During your morning game drive, you may see elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, and many bird species.
After lunch, you will begin your return drive to Arusha or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your 3 Days Tanzania Safari with Climb2Kili Adventures.
